Presented simultaneously in four major European institutions - the Pompidou-Centre Metz, the Fresnoy in Tourcoing, the KZM in Karlsruhe (Germany) and the Champs Libres in Rennes - this virtual exhibition curated by Jean-Jacques Lebel offers an artistic and poetic insight into the heart of the Beat Generation saga, which began in New York and San Francisco in the 1940's, with Allen Ginsberg, Jack Kerouac and William Burroughs as the most emblematic protagonists.
