The film shows the decisive interview of a climate refugee applying for asylum with a state examiner and an interpreter, in the presence of an interpreter. The interview focuses on the asylum seeker’s life, as he asked to give a meticulous account of the events that forced him into exile. In this strict legal protocol, the protagonist will have to relive the path of his exile in order to prove the veracity of his story. The oral interview is gradually transformed into a re-enactment of the climatic forces experienced during his journey. The protagonist is then subjected to the wind and cold that he claims to have survived. He himself becomes an object of study who can only be convincing by his physical performance and mental strength. In the face of these traumas, repeated and amplified by the simulation, the administrative system will gradually break down.
