Cursus
I am a visual artist with a background in fashion design and applied arts.
During my bachelor studies at Istituto Europeo di Design in Milan (2011-14), I experimented with the language of the body, movement, and aesthetics.
In 2015, I moved to Amsterdam to study for a master’s degree in The Dirty Art Department of Sandberg Instituut. I focused on defining my autonomous artistic practice through a multidisciplinary approach, engaging with the fields of art and design. During my master’s studies, I began working with artist Yiannis Mouravas, with whom I have collaborated since 2016.
After graduating from the Sandberg Instituut in 2017 I worked as an artist and researcher, actively engaging with both underground and institutional fields, and collaborating with other artists and filmmakers. My work has been shown in various European art spaces, and it has been awarded grants from Dutch institutions such as Mondriaan Fonds, Stimuleringfonds, and Amsterdams Fonds voor de Kunst. Since 2019, I have also been an active member of the Worm Filmwerkplaats, Rotterdam, an artist-run lab dedicated to 16mm filmmaking.
